The Textile and Fashion Hub at Kangan Institute offers sampling & short-run manufacturing services, industry-relevant training courses for designers and small businesses as well as customised industry training for manufacturers.

Located in the heart of Cremorne, with state-of-the-art facilities and the very latest in industry-standard technology, the Textile and Fashion Hub is the missing link between the birth of a creative concept and its final emergence as a finished product.

Our full-time industry experts are available to assist designers and businesses with their garment development and manufacturing requirements, with a series of options and packages for the knitting and printing of garments.

With extensive industry experience and expertise, our consultants also work closely with the textile design and manufacturing industry to help create manufacturing efficiencies and compliance practices that will improve the bottom line.

Hubs Services

Knitwear

We can produce sampling & /or production for you. We have the ability to produce complete garments using whole garment technology. We can work with basic knitting modes, as well as jacquard, cables & intarsia. We specialise in fashion garments & home wear’s & lifestyle products.

Garment Printer

The garment printer uses digital print technology not dissimilar to an ink jet printer, do drop ink-on-demand onto a garment. This printer is a placement printer with a maximum print size of 355mm x 405mm.

Tailored Training

Our industry expert consultants work closely with your organisation to identify and define the requirement. This gives us the opportunity to better understand your business, your people and your processes, which in turn allows us to build the training package that best suits your need and specifically addresses your requirements.

Room Hire

We have a variety of rooms available, complete with interactive screens. You can either use our boardroom with catering facilities, seminar room, CAD & excel rooms.
