Scholarships

If you are experiencing financial hardship, Kangan Institute has a number of scholarships and grants that provide the opportunity to turn your dreams of study into a reality.

 

Education Support Scholarships

Education Support Scholarships are a non-academic scholarship, which means you don’t need to have good grades, just passion and the want to take the next step in your chosen career path. These scholarships are for students experiencing severe financial difficulties and who would struggle to pay their fees without assistance.

These scholarships apply to all courses available at Kangan Institute.

Pathway to Victoria Scholarship

The Pathway to Victoria Scholarship has been made possible by funding from the Victorian Government through Study Melbourne paid by Bendigo Kangan Institute towards tuition fees. Available to new international students with a single VET or a VET packaged with English offer letter.

Each scholarship is valued at $2,500.

Access Scholarship

The Kangan Institute Access Scholarship has been designed to provide opportunities for access to education. It is intended to alleviate financial pressures associated with engagement and the successful completion of the course.

The scholarship is available to domestic and international students enrolled in any course at Kangan Institute.

Hume Multiversity Scholarship

Hume City Council has initiated the Hume Multiversity scholarship program to support residents of Hume who are undertaking an approved course (subject to limited courses deemed eligible by the Hume Council).

Kangan Institute will provide financial assistance to eligible Kangan Institute students who are Hume residents undertaking eligible tertiary courses and have enrolled up to 6 weeks from course commencement.

Work and Development Permit (WDP) Scheme 

Ease your financial stress through the Work and Development Permit (WDP) Scheme, which helps students overcome personal fines and debts. 

The Student Support Welfare team has partnered with the Department of Justice to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged people with a non-financial option to pay their outstanding fines. This means that we are now accredited to deliver the Work Development and Permit (WDP) Scheme.
